It's July, which means the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here.
For those not familiar, this once-yearly sale allows Nordstrom shoppers to buy next season's and items that rarely go on sale at a substantial discount for a limited time, from clothing and shoes to beauty products and luggage.
From July 11 to 16, the sale was restricted to members of Nordstrom's loyalty program, Nordy Club.
In anticipation of the sale opening to the public today, July 17, we've previewed and selected some of our favorite Nordstrom Anniversary Sale travel-related items.

Many people know the pain of being unable to leave a house without a bag, especially when traveling. Luckily, the invention (or reemergence?) of belt bags has really changed the game for me when traveling. Instead of bringing a purse, I now throw my phone, wallet, sunscreen, portable charger and other travel essentials into a belt bag. This mini bag from Rains is among the most compact options.
At just 13 1/2 inches wide and 6 inches high, this compact belt bag is perfect for travelers on the go. Its adjustable belt expands to 50 inches, transforming it into a cross-body bag if desired. Adidas Ultraboost 1.0 DNA Sneaker
As these are among my favorite tennis shoes ever, I take advantage anytime Adidas puts its Ultraboost sneakers on sale. The first time I wore my Ultraboosts, it felt like I could become an instant track star. Their Springy Boost cushioning positions the Ultraboosts as a "running shoe reborn as a street sneaker made with high-performance recycled materials."
This provides utmost buoyancy, and the pull-on sock upper protects your ankles from blisters. Also, their Continental Rubber tread means you can wear the shoe in wet or dry weather conditions.
With fibers constructed from Parley Ocean Plastic sourced from upcycled plastic waste intercepted from remote islands, shorelines, waters and coastal communities, this is one of the most eco-friendly tennis shoes on the market.

The Hydro Flask is hands down the best water bottle I've ever owned, and it's a travel essential (even though I have lost three during my travels thus far). I have yet to find a water bottle that keeps water cold to the degree that the Hydro Flask does (up to 24 hours), thanks to its TempShield double-wall insulation.If hot beverages are your thing, rest assured the insulation works just as well on the opposite end of the spectrum, keeping your hot beverage hot for up to 12 hours.At just one pound, this bottle is ideal for travel, holding up to 24 ounces of liquid with a leakproof screw-on cap. I've dropped my Hydro Flask many times, so I can also attest to its durability and sweat-free nature.

For a more traditional sunscreen, try the full-size Classic Face Sunscreen with broad-spectrum SPF 50.
