If you’re a hotel guest at Sun City or resident at Sun Vacation Club, you get complimentary access to the Valley of Waves. Sun City rates apply for day visitors who want to spend their time lazing on the palm-fringed beach or riding the action-packed water slides.
Due to limitations on capacity, access to Sun City Resort will only be granted to Hotel and Sun Vacation Club residents, MVG members, guests with confirmed golf bookings and guests that have prepurchased Valley of Waves Day Visitor Tickets. View our FAQs for more information.
Day Visitor tickets can be purchased on the day and are available from TicketPro. Limited tickets are available daily. Tickets cannot be purchased at the resort.

Adrenaline Junkies
Perhaps even more famous than the Valley of Waves, the Temple of Courage is a 17-metre adrenaline rush down a 70-metre drop. Hurtle down an almost vertical slide, under a bridge and land with a splash in a small pool. There are also two body slides – the Tarantula and the Scorpion, and two tube rides – the Viper and the Mamba.
Relaxation
The Lazy River offers a gentle, non-stop tube ride around an island while The Royal Baths swimming pool beside the Amphitheatre offers a place to soak up some warm sun rays, co*cktail in hand. Take a stroll through the tropical forests surrounding the Valley of Waves and discover the Spider Web Sway Bridge, hidden cave waterfalls with its rare plant varieties and more.

- No food or beverages are allowed into the water park.
- All bags are subject to search upon arrival.
- Prices are subject to change.
- Guests are welcome to bring camp chairs, beach umbrellas and towels. However, no tents, gazebos, hubbly-bubbly or music players are allowed into the water park.
- The entrance fee includes use of all tubes on the slides and the Lazy River.
- Backrests are free and are available to all guests on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- No refunds or discounts will be awarded due to any slide or water feature being out of order.

- Residents to present registration card on entering Valley of Waves.

- Designated smoking areas are available, please read the signage provided.
- Please make use of the lockers to safeguard your valuables.
- Proper swimwear to be worn at all times. You may be restricted from using some of the water features if this is not adhered to.
- All sliders for tube slides, body slides and Temple of Courage must be at least 1.2 metres tall in order to use the slides.
- Parents may not accompany a child shorter than 1.2m down an adult slide.
- Please obey all rules of the water park at all times. Failure to comply with water park rules could result in your removal.
- Please call ahead to check that all slides and water features are in operation.
