The traffic police have banned two-wheelers on the stretch indefinitely to ensure road safety after a steady increase of fatal accidents on the flyover. You will not be able to ride a motorcycle on the JJ Flyover from Friday.

The circular stated, “JJ flyover has been banned for two-wheelers. Several fatal accidents have taken place due to which Azad Maidan and Pydhonie traffic division have constables posted on both the ends of the flyover.

They wanted authorities to remove the menace of drug addicts from under the Qutb-e-Konkan Makhdoom Ali Mahimi Flyover, better known as J J Flyover, in south Mumbai.
